With an aim to further my education, I took up the Kaplan Diploma as a pathway into a Bachelor’s Degree programme. I chose to major in Psychology as it has always been a subject of interest to me and allows me to understand individuals from all walks of life in my role as a Staffing Specialist. It is also my dream that one day, I would be able to open a clinic for the needy as a counsellor or psychiatrist.

Upon attaining my Kaplan Diploma, my career progressed, and I was given a promotion at my workplace with a salary increment.

This programme has enhanced my job performance working in Treasury, where I oversee the funds needed for the company’s operations and liaise with our bank’s relationship managers. Two modules I found helpful were Corporate Finance and Planning, and Financial Accounting. Through the Diploma programme, I learnt the importance of forward planning with regard to cash flow and how far ahead a company should plan in order to ensure smooth operations. Upon attaining my Diploma, I was given a salary increment.

The Nexus

The Nexus is a collaborative space equipped with an 85-inch smart interactive touchscreen display board which offers intuitive on-screen interactions. Height-adjustable tables which can flip and be used as whiteboards are also available to allow students to interact seamlessly together.

Modern Classroom

Our new Campus also offers modern classrooms enhanced with cutting-edge technology and improved technology experience. Apart from the 85-inch smart interactive display boards, a section of the classroom walls has been designed as writable surfaces, serving as a reusable canvas for students to capture and discuss their ideas.

Private Online Discussion Support Stations (PODss)

PODss are similar to video teller machines for banks. Students based at our new campus can conveniently contact their respective Programme Managers during office hours and conduct a private, one-on-one meeting without the need for either party to travel between campuses.
